Local Center: Connected Corridors

Opening Day Gathering
Professional work completed as an Urban Designer at MUD Workshop, with responsibilities including report writing, public engagement, and stakeholder coordination.
The Local Center: Connected Corridor is initiated by Urban Design Forum, a non-profit organzation, and this project is a collaboration with the 161st Street BID in the Bronx to create a vision plan and public realm activation project.

The SAIL Installation
The SAIL is a pilot activation project in the Vision Plan to establish a seating installation on the Lou Gehrig Plaza to provide a public space for the community to gather and enjoy.

Vision Plan Site Selection
Seven sites are selected in the boundary of the 161st Street BID to be improved through the Vision Plan.

McDonald Plaza Improvement
The McDonald Plaza is an entryway to The Bronx, serving as a bridge between the subway Line 6 station and the Yankee Stadium.

Bus Station Improvement
The bus station has great potential to be imrpoved as a public space for the community and a median for the traffic flow.
