SC Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan

Focus Area and Destination Map
Project completed as an Urban Designer at MUD Workshop, with responsibilities including project management, GIS analysis, client coordination, and community engagement.
The Sullivan County Bike and Pedestrian Plan aims to create a connected regional mobility network across rural New York. By reimagining “last-mile” travel as “last three- to five-mile” connections, the plan aims to link residents, workers, and visitors to main streets and transit hubs—strengthening access, safety, and recreation throughout Sullivan County.

Feedbacks Received through Public Survey
During April 30th to Spetember 5th, the consultant team and the County launched a public survey to collect input for potential bike and pedestrian improvements.

Public Engagement Boards
During public engagement, community members are invited to share feedback on the draft vision and goals. Focus areas are identified based on feedback density, key destinations, and local recommendations. Residents can pinpoint comments directly on specific roadways and intersections to help shape future improvements.

Potential Pathway Alignment
For each focus area, potential pathway alignments are identified and evaluated using criteria such as population density, jurisdiction, and connectivity. These alignments are then ranked and brought to the Advisory Committee and the public for further review and input.

Advisory Committee Feedback Session
During the Advisory Committee feedback session, members are invited to share comments by placing pinpoint flags on an interactive map.
